Residential Rebates for Select ENERGY STAR® Certified Windows and Doors

Homeowners are invited to apply for rebates of $100 per eligible unit for the installation of ENERGY STAR® certified windows and doors, up to a maximum total of $2,000. These upgrades are designed to enhance residential energy efficiency and reduce monthly utility expenditures.

Eligible Products and Incentives
A $100 rebate is available for the following ENERGY STAR® certified installations:

  • Windows: Must feature a minimum of triple-pane glass.
  • Entry Doors: Units containing glass must feature at least triple-pane glazing.
  • Sliding Glass Doors: Must include a minimum of triple-pane glass.

To qualify for the rebate, products must be ENERGY STAR® certified and meet the specific glazing requirements outlined above (entry doors without glass must strictly maintain ENERGY STAR® certification). Applicants should verify product compliance via the Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) registries, ensuring search filters are set to a minimum of three glazing layers where applicable.

Procurement and Installation
Rebates are restricted to new products purchased within Canada from authorized suppliers, contractors, or retailers.

To request a rebate, please complete the online application form and attach the final supporting invoice. Applications must be submitted within 90 days of the final invoice date. Paper applications are available upon request.
